The Mod Show, with Dave Bell

Monday, 12pm – 3pm

Dave has been a DJ on the Mod and Scooter Rally Circuit for a number of years. He has a great passion for Northern Soul, Motown, Ska and Two Tone, together with all the music played at Scooter Rally’s up and down the country. Join him every Monday for some of Halton’s favourite kinds of music and for something a little bit different from main stream afternoon radio.

Eclectic Express, with Chris Strefford

It’s Eclectic and ram jam full of Content.

UK Charts and Local Music. Local and International News. Co-presenters, wacky stories and serious stories. Traffic & Travel updates and local weather forecast. Battle Of The Listeners est. 2008. Telephone interviews and special guests. Fully interactive and fast paced, with music to stun and enthral and an ever expanding collection of amazing listeners!

The “Time To Go Wild” Radio Show

Monday, 7pm – 8pm

Don’t know your blue line from red; or what icing is?  Time to Go Wild Radio has the answers. Features news, interviews and studio guests from the sport of ice hockey played at SilverBlades ice rink Widnes.

The 80’s Show, with Nathan Gould

Nathan plays famous and lesser-known 80s Songs, with features:
The Forgot Files – where he discusses and plays music by forgotten artists
Battle Of The Versions – where he plays different artists’ versions of the same song
80s Top Ten – when he plays the UK Top Ten from an 80s year

The Magazine Show, with Sue Ellison

Tuesday, 2pm – 4pm

The weekly show includes pre-recorded or live studio interviews plus a varied selection of music. Previous interviewees have included Actors, Authors, Comedians, Musicians, Health Professionals, Sportsmen, Lawyers, MPs and Volunteers. Topics have included Fundraising, Choirs, Health Matters, Homelessness and Art Topics.

The Rhythm Driven Drive Show, with Nathan Gould

Nathan keeps you informed of the latest traffic and travel news, and plays a mix of music from the 60s to the present-day, with features:

Jazz Spectrum, with Frank Ames

Tuesday, 6pm – 8pm

Two hours covering the whole spectrum of jazz, from its inception right up to the present day. Featuring rarities and recent releases, with the occasional guest jazz musician, plus information on live jazz in our area.

The Afternoon Show, with Dave Bell

The Evening Extravaganza, with Tom Lewis

Every Wednesday, Tom presents the Evening Extravaganza, featuring  Shakespeare Corner, Impressions and the odd joke or three! Playing a wide range of music, with a different theme each week, Tom hopes to hear from you soon, and wants to remind you that “smilers never lose and frowners never win!”.

The Local Music Show, with Laura Griffiths

Wednesday, 9pm – 10pm

Join Laura as she plays music from new and upcoming local artists. With special guest appearances from many local bands and artists.

The Thursday Morning Breakfast Club, with Alan Wayne

Thursday, 7am – 10am

The Thursday morning breakfast club will get you ready for the day ahead with some classic oldies, and a chance to win with our 3 competitions. “B” side vinyl song, Terri’s star signs for the week and country classics, as well as keeping you up to date on the early morning traffic and travel. There’s the archive year, what’s on’s, a rock n’ roll tune and a whole lot more.

You will get to know Tilly the wonderful cleaner, Albert the HCR commissioner and silver top the milkman pops in from time to time. Tune in and be a member of the club!

The NHS Halton CCG Radio Show, with Dave Sweeney & Matthew Roberts

The last Thursday of each month, 2pm – 4pm.

NHS Halton CCG (Clinical Commissioning Group) are delivering a ​monthly health show, focussing on all aspects of health.

Previous shows have focused on Urgent Care Centres, Dementia, Palliative Care, and Flu as well a wide variety of other health topics.

The Rock and Metal Show, with Sherroll Ann Martin
